Janitorial Supervisor - Must have Supervisor Experience

City Wide Property Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a Lead Janitorial Supervisor to join our expanding team!

For over two decades, City Wide has been a trusted partner for ownership, and property & facility managers throughout California, providing commercial properties with first-class maintenance and service repairs.

Essential Functions:

Train and schedule employees in the field.

Understand site instructions and confirm that SDS sheets are current, located onsite, and that they are being followed.

Train on OSHA safety guidelines.

Provide proper tools needed per scope of work.

Enforce uniform and safety gear.

Perform site inspections to evaluate job performance.

Address specific cleaning concerns and retrain employeeson concerns.

Review site hour budgets and monitor variances.

Respond to employee calls on shift about safety, supplies, or work scope.

Attend On-Boarding meetings to customize cleaning schedule as needed

Communicate safety concerns and actively participate in safety meetings and report safety concerns.

Manage customer retention including site keys, alarm codes, badging, etc.

Manage, order, deliver, and track equipment supply and consumables at job sites.

Respond to vehicle accidents or on-the-job injuries and complete an appropriate incident/accident report for submission to the Operations Manager. HR must be informed immediately.

Manage new client site start-ups for all Day Porter Services and/or Janitorial services.

Log all attendance and performance issues on teams to HR.

Perform other related duties as requested or assigned.

Keep track of sick calls for accurate payroll reporting. Approved timecards, collect and review mileage forms.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prior cleaning experience

Supervisor experience

Provide a clean MVR Report

Proof of valid Driver's License

Ability to effectively communicate, both spoken and written.

Proficient with iPhones, emails, spreadsheets, and word processing; Microsoft fluency

Self-motivated and continually improvement minded.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees.

Self-motivated and able to identify problems or things that don't make sense and provide solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
