Driver for Home Remodel Company

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver to join our home remodel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hooking up and towing trailers, picking up and transporting materials, running errands, and supporting the team with various tasks. The candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely hook up, tow, and maneuver trailers to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

- Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers to job sites and company storage locations.

- Run errands as needed, including obtaining permits, picking up supplies, and other tasks to support the team.

- Load and unload materials, ensuring they are secured and transported safely.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and trailer.

- Perform routine checks on vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.

- Assist the home remodel team with lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating the trailer.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Experience in towing and maneuvering trailers.

- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Familiarity with local routes and traffic laws.

- Previous experience in construction or home remodeling is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Capability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:

- This position involves driving, loading, and unloading materials in various weather conditions.

- The driver will interact with suppliers, team members, and occasionally customers.

Compensation

- $22-$28/ hour

Hours:

- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
