Job Type: Weekly: 36-40 Hours ; Monday – Friday ; Wednesday - Sunday

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Park Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our park facilities. This position involves a variety of general labor duties, including clean-up, lawn care work, and janitorial tasks.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as litter removal, sweeping, and mowing lawns.

Ensure park facilities are clean and well-maintained at all times.

Assist in the maintenance of playgrounds, trails, and recreational areas.

Perform basic landscaping duties including planting, weeding, and watering.

Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

Assist with special projects and events as needed.

Requirements:

Must have Valid CA DL and have DMV/MVR that is insurable

Based on the nature of the work, position will require successful completion of a background check

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in general labor or maintenance preferred.

Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

Physically able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
