Optometric Assistant responsibilities

Applicants should have strength in the following attributes and skills-

Experience preferred butis not required – we are willing to train the right person!

Ensure high quality patient care. Understands ocular terminology . Maintains accurate and organized patient records. Multitasking and time-management skills .

Dispensing knowledge from frame selection to proper measurements needed for glasses.

Knowledge of contact lenses and able to train a new contact lens patient proper application and removal .

Scheduling patients and insurance benefit authorization.
