ALOHA SUSHI-Kitchen Prep/Line Cook

We are a sushi restaurant in Folsom hiring for Kitchen Prep/Line Cook. This position is for IMMEDIATE hire.

This is a part time position offering 16-32 hours

KITCHEN COOK:

Cook will prepare and cook all kitchen foods for restaurant plus tempura for sushi.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

-Take direction from Head Chefs

-Estimate food requirements

-Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season for cooking, serving and storing

-Prep all foods

-Properly store foods

-Clean/sanitize workstation to keep up with compliance with service standards

-Must adhere to all company standards and policies.

-MUST be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Minimum of 2 years of full service restaurant kitchen experience required.

Looking for professional, reliable individual with a passion for cooking and an openness to learn.

Compensation: $23/hour DOE + tips
