This role will support the Digital organization within key operational areas that enable Engineering teams to deliver and maintain high quality software powering compelling Digital experiences for our customers in a scaled organization .   This role will report to the Senior Manager , Digital Partner Operations and be responsible for partnering with Digital Architecture and Engineering leaders to creat e key artifacts and implement processes and control points to ensure the continued effectiveness of the organization and an emphasis on cost reduction , containment, and value . Key components of the role will be managing the Digital Renewal Pipeline, vendor financial reconciliation via collaboration with Finance and Procurement and contributing to the maintenance of DPO tools and artifacts . This role contributes heavily to the planning and decision making on the tools and assets leveraged by the Digital Engineering and Teams that are used to design, build, and maintain software supporting the product development roadmap and digital experiences. This role will support initiatives focused on introducing simplicity in operational practices, optimizing , and containing costs while increasing effectiveness of Partner /Vendor Operations, 3 rd party asset strategy and management . C ollaborat ion across multiple partners within Enterprise Digital including Finance, Procurement, Operations groups , Human Resources, Agile PMO, Product Management, Design , Procurement, Contract Management and Legal will be central to the success of the role. The role requires a background in technology with an empha sis on how architectural concepts including platforms , languages, frameworks, libraries, tools, and other technologies are applied to deliver value within large-scale and complex organization . In addition, the candidate must have experience with , and extensive knowledge and awareness of technology vendors in the Digital or Information Technology space . Experience with concepts and key industry players and products in PaaS, SaaS, Web and Enterprise tools and application s is critical . The candidate must be proficient in initiating and delivering initiatives , display a financial/ commercial orientation coupled with stakeholder and relationship management, team building, advocacy , business communications, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a capable, influential, and trusted subject matter expert with the ability to foster and maintain relationships across the enterprise and its affiliate businesse s . In addition, demonstrated capability to concurrently drive efficiency and performance will be key. Digital Partner Operations Summary: Responsible for managing the Digital Renewal Pipeline, vendor financial reconciliation via collaboration with Finance and Procurement and contributing to the maintenance of DPO tools and artifacts . Tactical with focus on core capabilities of renewals, optimizations, and reconciliations Tools and Artifacts

Maintain key DPO tools and dashboards and ensure accuracy and alignment with Finance and Procurement

Internal DPO Tools including Vendor Master, Shared Saves Tracker, Comparison Report etc.     

Manage vendor renewal/initiation pipeline

Implement and facilitate new/renewal candidate review process to vet against existing domain/lob vendors, reference architecture and Digital Roadmap

Support forum dedicated to assessing vendor candidacy for renewal with Architecture, Engineering, Procurement, and other parties as needed

Liaise with Finance on vendor financials including baseline, forecast, and saving

M aintain comprehensive Vendor Assessment Collection template to provide key data points for Digital senior management decision making

Update and maintain the Shared Saves Tracker and Comparison Worksheet with results of sessions

Manage vendor deprecation pipeline

M aintain Vendor Deprecation tool to provide key data points for Digital senior management decision making

Support DPO Lead in forum s with senior Architecture and Engineering staff to identify and propose vendors for deprecation

Facilitate vendors approved for deprecation through the removal lifecycle

Update and maintain the Shared Saves Tracker and Comparison Worksheet with results

License Optimization

Support DPO Lead with designing and implementing a process to optimize vendor license levels

Maintain process for identifying license optimization opportunities including tools and artifacts for capturing and assessing, contract T&C assessment, Procurement review and vendor negotiation

Financial Management

Collaborate with Finance partners and engineering leaders to manage engineering’s financial needs and spend, which includes capacity costs, tooling, education, T&A, and other areas of engineering budget.

Maintain working relationship with Finance partners to ensure alignment on key budget metrics, item-specific treatment, and financial reporting Asset Management financial reporting and analysis

Ensure actual and forecast alignment to Finance Department’s Quarterly Reconciliation process

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$136,217.50 - $267,800.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
