Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (Salaried Position)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating, preferably in the fire protection or related industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with AutoCAD/Bluebeam, Procore and other construction-based or project management software preferred.
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, as well as NFPA & FM Global Standards
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Strong communication skills with frequent interface with people (including but not limited to fire departments, construction foremen, GC’s, on-site shop staff, and vendors)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Demonstrate your initiative and value every day
Manage fire protection projects from inception to completion
Develop detailed cost estimates for New Fire Sprinkler System installations, upgrades, and tenant Improvements
Review contract documents and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
Perform site visits and attend project meetings to assess project scope and gather necessary information for accurate estimating, manpower and equipment scheduling
Review and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans
Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to clients and senior management for all active projects.
Coordinate with other departments within office to ensure proper handover of job information
Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
