ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

Work directly with superintendents and project managers to accurately and effectively build projects

Engage in pre-construction meetings with our team to resolve any discrepancies or uncertainties in the construction documents before getting onsite

Thoroughly understand construction means and methods and proficiently read construction documents and specifications to maintain quality of work

Participate and adhere to Muse Concrete’s safety program to ensure a safe and OSHA-compliant work environment

Organize daily activities, such as safety meetings, and assign tasks to crew members. Assure materials, tools, and equipment are on site

Prepare timesheets, field directives, change orders, daily reports, and purchase orders as required

Guide and train crew members with proper use of tools and equipment

During the first 30 days of employment, you will be teamed up with another Foreman for training. Once training is completed, you will be expected to manage your own crew.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

To be successful in this position you will need to be a quick learner, have good listening skills, and be a strong communicator. Organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are essential. Most importantly, you must meet schedule milestones, help other Foremen, and maintain a safe and positive work environment.

REQUIRED:

Ability to travel within the North State

10+ years’ experience in concrete construction

Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pre-employment drug screen (based on CA illegal substances)

Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (based on CA state illegal substances).
