Incumbent compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses medicines and preparations. Incumbent also oversees medications prepared by Pharmacy Technicians. This position reports to the Director Pharmacy.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of unit dose systems, IV admixture, chemotherapy, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and drug use evaluation required
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD degree
Must have current registration as pharmacist in the State of California prior to start date
BLS and ACLS Certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
PGY1 residency
PALS Certification, ENLS
