Accounting Clerk

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounting Clerk will support various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of our financial processes.Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and data entry

Assist with accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and cash application

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation

Prepare and distribute financial reports and summaries as requested

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

1+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
