We provide direct services and advocacy to assist those we serve in achieving their highest level of personal independence and self-sufficiency. Looking for an agency to fulfill your practicum requirement? Want experience providing therapy directly to children? We are hiring! Part time (22.5 hours per week) and full time (37.5 hours per week) positions available. The Lynn Center is VistAbility's Early Intervention Program and Preschool for children with disabilities from birth to six years of age. Lynn Center also provides therapeutic services for families with children up to age 18. Primary responsibilities will be: Provide comprehensive support to children (mainly ages 0-5) and their families with services that include clinical assessments, individual play therapy, family therapy, collateral parent support and case management/linkage. Assessments may be conducted in a variety of settings and can include: the community, the child's home or our clinic. Qualifications: LCSW or LMFT. Trainees (applicants currently enrolled in graduate program) and Interns (graduates working on clinical hours) welcome to apply.
Must have the ability and be willing to provide clinical assessment and intervention services in clinic or in the natural environment (home or school).
Must be open to a variety of treatment modalities tailored to meet the needs of the individual child/parents/family involved.
Preferred: experience working with children under the age of six who may have experienced trauma, behavioral, and emotional problems.
Preferred: work history should include case management, family work in the natural environment, outpatient individual play therapy, trauma, attachment, parenting skills, family counseling, and group work experience.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and to interact collaboratively with other agencies.
Must be a flexible team player, willing to work as part of a treatment team utilizing support from the greater community.
Experience with Medi-Cal paperwork preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
Must meet State licensing requirements involving vaccinations, health screening and Department of Justice clearance.
California Driver’s license, good driving record and use of a vehicle required (mileage reimbursement provided).

Bilingual in Spanish and English
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (full time) or 22.5 hours per week (part time). Hours/scheduling can be flexible. Location: office in Pittsburg and caseload will be in East Contra Costa County Pay range $24 trainees still in graduate program $25 interns under 1,000 hours $26 when at 1,000 hours $27 when at 2,000 hours $32 once licensed Benefits for these work hours include:

Our vacation accrual rates are generous: 1st and 2nd year of employment = 2 weeks vacation a year; 3rd and 4th year of employment = 3 weeks vacation a year; 5th to 9th year of employment = 4 weeks vacation a year; the 10th year onward = 5 weeks vacation a year. All positions open until filled.
