SMAssociate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: 50 Bellefontaine, Suite 305, Pasadena, CAPrimary Responsibilities:

Greet patients and direct them to appropriate departments

Answer multiple phone lines, direct calls, and take messages as needed

Verify patient information and insurance eligibility; collect payments

Direct patients to complete forms and process patient-related paperwork

Inform the provider’s assistant of no-shows and cancellations

Make follow-up appointments for patients and call patients to confirm appointments

Contact “bumped” patients and reschedule appointments as appropriate

Perform various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment as assigned

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone

1+ years of Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with medical insurance

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Prior experience with EMR computer applications

Working knowledge of general office procedures

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
