Strong experience in AWS and DevOps, automation, scripting and programming.Client is a pioneering medical technology company that is reinventing how medical procedures are supported by industry and clinicians.We are committed to delivering HIPAA compliant real-time video conferencing solutions that improve the quality, and lower the cost, of procedural care delivery.Our first-generation client Systems are currently being used to support procedures in the United States.Physicians are able to instantly connect with enhanced on demand support that is better than being there, with added capabilities such as the ability to annotate over live or paused video.We are looking for self-starters, who are great team players, to join us as we transform when, where and how procedural support is delivered.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services (i.e. logging, monitoring and alerting)
Scoping of work, management of backlog and predictability of project delivery
Provide input into long-range platform requirements and operational guidelines, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement of Platform Service
Develop and own best practices/methodologies for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, monitoring, etc. to improve organization-wide visibility into how distributed systems interact and perform in production
Secure and govern the infrastructure by implementing strong access policies and rules
Own daily operational goals with the team
Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
Assist and mentor the other entry level SRE/Devops engineers

Requirements/Qualifications:

10+ years of Software / DevOps Engineering experience
Cloud infrastructure management (preferably AWS)
Automation/configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Salt Stack, Chef)
Orchestration tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
Container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
System administration (e.g. RedHat, Debian)
Experience in CICD pipeline using GitLab/GitHub and Jenkins (or similar)
Metrics acquisition and analysis; regex log searching and anomaly detection (e.g. ELK, Splunk, Grafana)
Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash or similar
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Strong multi-tasking skills and active interest in the DevOps movement
