Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Journal entries experience desired
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with fixed assets
Foundational knowledge in general ledger
Cost analysis experience
Annual Standard Cost experience preferred
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
ERP system experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
