General Remodel Technician – Construction Experience Required

- Job Summary -

We are looking for a skilled General Remodel Technician with hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing a wide variety of remodeling tasks, including electrical, plumbing fixture installation, carpentry, drywall, and finishing work.

Interviews are scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If interested, respond to this post with your resume and phone number to schedule a first interview via Zoom, and a possible second interview in person.

- Responsibilities -

The technician must be able to perform tasks such as:

+ Electrical +

Install and replace outlets, switches, and basic wiring

Troubleshoot minor electrical issues (non-permit work unless licensed)

+ Plumbing +

Install toilets, sinks, faucets, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.

Repair minor leaks and replace valves as needed.

+ Carpentry & General Remodel +

Install doors, baseboards, casing, and trim

Perform drywall repairs, patches, and texture matching.

Complete demolition work safely (bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, etc.)

+ Finishing +

Interior painting (rolling, brushing, touch-ups, prep work)

Caulking, sealing, and other detail work for a clean finish

+ Qualifications & Requirements +

2+ years of experience in general construction or remodeling

Must have a reliable truck/vehicle for transporting tools and materials

Must have own necessary tools to perform remodel tasks

Strong knowledge of tools, safety procedures, and work quality standards

Ability to read instructions and complete tasks without supervision

Valid driver’s license

Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Must own a smartphone

Good physical condition and stamina

Preferred (but not required)

Experience in electrical or plumbing beyond a basic level

Ability to manage small projects from start to finish

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
