Mobile Car Wash & Detailing Technician – Orange County

Coastrum Detailing is hiring entry-level Mobile Car Wash & Detailing Technicians to help make Orange County shine—one vehicle at a time! You’ll be responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior of customer vehicles based on their preferences, from simple vacuuming to full interior detailing and polishing.

This is a physically active, outdoor position with long hours, frequent movement, and weekend/holiday work. Ideal for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with their hands and staying on the move.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning on vehicles

- Pre-rinse vehicles to remove loose dirt

- Adjust hose pressure and mix cleaning solutions as needed

- Wash and soap vehicles using proper tools (cloths, sponges, etc.)

- Rinse and dry vehicles, ensuring no soap or water spots remain

- Clean windows, dashboards, carpets, and other interior surfaces

- Vacuum carpets, dispose of interior trash, and clean mats

- Apply wax and polish to exterior surfaces

- Ensure all accessories are returned to their place post-cleaning

- Follow safety procedures to avoid damage to vehicles

- Maintain a clean work area and professional appearance

Essential Skills & Qualities:

- Previous experience in car detailing or washing is strongly preferred

- Driving license is required

- Dependable and on time

- Physically fit and mobile

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

- Great attention to detail

- Able to follow instructions and company procedures

Physical Requirements:

- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and 25 lbs frequently

- Frequent bending, standing, walking, and reaching

- Repetitive use of hands for vacuuming, wiping, and polishing

- Ability to work in hot or cold outdoor environments

- Regular interaction with customers and team members
