Must Have At least 3 Years of Fleet or Dealership Experience To Be Considered
3 Years of Diesel Engine Repair or Heavy Equipment Repair Experience Is Required!
We are an Authorized Dealer for many leading brands. We have been an authorized Komatsu dealer in San Diego and Imperial county for over 30 years and have just become the authorized Komatsu Construction Equipment dealer for all of Southern California (From San Diego and Imperial Valley up to Kern County (Bakersfield)). For over 50 years Clairemont Equipment has been providing Rentals, Sales and Service to Contractors and Homeowners throughout Southern California. We currently have branch locations in San Diego, Escondido, Fontana, Indio and Imperial California. We are looking to expand further in the coming years.

Responsibilities:
Inspects and diagnosis equipment for potential and reported mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems as well as missing or damaged parts.
Prepares complete and detailed estimates
Repairs and/or services the equipment as instructed by the Branch, Service Manager or General Manager.
Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined
Orders parts and supplies necessary to complete the repairs and/or service work required
Able to identify parts and related supplies
Electrical and hydraulic systems knowledge
Competency in reading schematic drawings and isolating problems.
Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness
Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by supervisor
Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures
Participate in, and utilize to the best of one"s abilities, technical training as assigned by management
Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.
Maintain inside your Field service Truck (if applicable)
Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management
Adhere to manufacturer"s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs.
Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management
Requirements
At least 3 year of Fleet or Dealership experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
Self-motivated and professional
Possess own tools
Must be able to communicate clearly, read and write in English.
Able to also communicate, read and write in Spanish is a plus.
Must be capable of climbing up and onto large equipment.
Electrical and hydraulic system knowledge is required
Must be Competent in reading schematic drawings and isolating/troubleshooting problems
