Warehouse/Production Associate for Engineering Tech Firm

Looking for An Immediate Hire: Estimated 30 Hours Per Week (up to 40 hours per week in first 3 months)

About the Position

Herzan is looking for a warehouse/production associate to work alongside the Production Coordinator to facilitate all activities within the production process. This position is currently listed as part time, with an opportunity for full time as production requirements increase.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Read weekly production schedules, customer orders, and shipping documents to determine items needing to be assembled, moved, gathered, or distributed.

Assemble client orders from inventory items and place orders on pallets or shipping containers.

Mark materials with identifying information.

Open and sort shipping boxes, crates, and other containers.

Record and report amount of materials or items received or distributed.

Organize materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.

Arrange inventory items in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Compile and complete quality assurance documents for products shipped/received.

Maintain inventory records and work alongside the front office to sustain inventory quantities.

Position Requirements:

Lift and/or move materials up to 50+ pounds.

Ability to work, standing on feet for a long period of time.

Willing to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Hold a valid driver's license.

Preferred Prior Experience

Previous TIG and/or MIG welding experience

Previous forklift operation experience

Previous mill/CNC operation experience

Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

Compensation will be based on previous experience and capabilities that align with the position.
