A small law firm in Mission Viejo, CA specializing in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate and Entity Formation is searching for a dynamic and experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team! We are seeking candidates with Estate Planning experience and strong organizational/communication skills.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role involving a variety of administrative and legal tasks to support a team of two attorneys at the firms Orange County office. In addition to assisting clients over the phone, you will also assist in the preparation of Revocable Living Trusts, wills, durable powers of attorneys, health care directives, deeds, and other estate planning documents.

Responsibilities may also include all phases of trust and probate administration. Candidates with ABA Paralegal Certification or a relevant degree/diploma is a huge plus! This position provides an excellent work-life balance, in a professional yet relaxed environment that fosters a friendly and collaborative team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Ability to handle a high client call volume

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent time management skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Experience in legal document preparation

Ability to provide administrative assistance

Proficient in computer systems and software commonly used in legal settings

Ability to maintain confidentiality

ABA Paralegal Certification or relevant degree/diploma is a plus

Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
