Job Summary:

National property services company seeking a Retail Maintenance Manager for its Maintenance & Construction Division. The Retail Maintenance Manager is a mid-management classification that functions as a facilities manager. Within established policies and procedures, the incumbent works with a high degree of independence in identifying and implementing management projects and establishing priorities.

Responsibilities and Duties: The duties listed below are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification, but not limited to.

Plan, manage, organize, direct, and evaluate the day-to-day activities of the building Maintenance technician teams.

Coordinate division activities with other departments, programs and / or outside contractors and vendors.

Maintains records and writes reports.

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all phases of building maintenance and repair work such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, paint, flooring.

Quality control visits to sites throughout Southern California

70% of time spent visiting potential projects, meeting customers, visiting job sites, out of office throughout Southern California

30% of time spent in office scheduling, creating proposals, updating project coordinators

Minimal travel outside California may be requested

Must be Team player / Can do attitude (Not afraid to get your hands dirty)

Flexible on schedule as needed

Occasional on call after hours

Qualifications and Skills:

A minimum of three years working in the construction / building maintenance field is required. Salary will depend on experience.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years college education in construction Management, business administration, or leadership equivalent.

Valid CA Driver License and clean DMV record

o $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
