BAKE A DIFFERENCE!The Lead Bakery Associate at PADERIA manages the front-of-house operations to high standards, creates memorable guest experiences, and builds strong teams. The primary goal of the Bakery Associate Lead is to provide quality products and exceptional service in a modern, warm, and friendly atmosphere. Paid time off, team perks, and employee discounts. A day in the life: Collaborate with other leads in store management roles. Manage, motivate, and develop employees by providing mentorship and maintaining company culture. Upkeep inventory, pricing, promotions, merchandising, labor scheduling, security, expense control, and operational processes. Manage catering orders, online orders, and third-party orders. Evaluate storefront conditions and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement Carry out procedures and strategies to improve the overall performance at the assigned bakery. Acknowledge, greet, and engage with guests by providing upscale quality service. Receive guest orders and package finished products with presentation and care. Create and serve simple beverage items such as teas, coffees, and specialty drinks. Eloquently describe menu items, ingredients, and allergy information. Maintain and replenish items needed for business needs. Maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment. Oversee opening and closing checklists, balance cash register sales, and handle deposits. Assist other team members in other roles and in baking off pastries as needed. What you bring to the table: Be a morning person! 2+ years of hospitality experience 1+ years of management experience Excellent management skills, professionalism, and high energy. Ability to lead, motivate, and build efficient teams. Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite and POS platform Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day) Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (according to customer demand) ServSafe Food Manager Certification holder/obtain certification within 30 days of employment Retail Location:18279 Brookhurst St, Suite 1, Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
