Sushi chef apprentice

We are an Omakase Sushi restaurant located in Laguna Beach. We are included in the Michelin Guide.

We are looking for a person who wants to become a sushi chef and learn how to make rice, break fish and make sushi. We will teach you everything to become a professional sushi chef.

You will need:

Some knowledge about fish and sushi.

You must have a knife.

You really want to become a sushi chef and have some cooking skills.

Speed, speed and speed.

Some cooking experience.

We can’t take someone with zero skills or no cooking experience and knowledge at all.

Candidates must have some sushi knowledge at least very basic skills. Maybe you didn’t get the right opportunity to grow. Here we will teach you everything but you have to work hard, efficiently and clean. No lazy people.
