We specialize in complex, high-value home transformations, including: Kitchen and Bathroom Remodels, Whole House Remodels, Second Story Additions, Family Room and Bedroom Additions, ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), and Outdoor Living Spaces (Kitchens & Patios). We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who is ready to be both a manager and a contributor in the field.

The Opportunity: The Hands-On Project Manager

We are looking for a unique Project Manager who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. This role requires a blend of high-level management expertise and practical field execution. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of a project from initiation to closeout while also performing essential construction tasks to maintain schedules, ensure quality, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

A. Project Management & Leadership (Approx. 60% of Time)

Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans for multiple concurrent residential remodels.

Budget Oversight: Track project costs, process change orders, and ensure projects meet targeted profit margins.

Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Vet, schedule, and manage all trade partners (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), holding them accountable for quality and schedule adherence.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary client liaison, providing regular progress updates, proactively resolving concerns, and ensuring clear communication throughout the build.

Permitting & Compliance: Oversee the submission and approval of permits, ensuring all work complies with Fullerton and Orange County building codes and regulations.

B. Field Execution & Quality Control (Approx. 40% of Time)

Hands-On Work: Directly perform light to moderate field tasks as necessary to drive the project forward, such as: minor framing adjustments, punch list completion, assisting with material receiving, quality checks on critical path items, and ensuring site cleanup standards are met.

Site Supervision: Conduct regular, detailed site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and maintain All Pro Builders' high-quality standards.

Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for on-site issues, troubleshooting design and construction challenges in real-time.

Material Management: Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and proper storage of materials, minimizing waste and delays.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of progressive experience in residential remodeling and construction, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or Project Manager role.

Proven hands-on experience in various trades relevant to kitchen/bath, additions, or whole-house remodeling.

Thorough knowledge of local building codes (Fullerton/Orange County) and inspection processes.

Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, similar).

Exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage complexity under pressure.

Valid California Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and work in various weather conditions on active construction sites.
