About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Advocate/Family Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for families seeking assistance navigating the complex world of services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct client intakes and assess individual needs.
Gather necessary documentation to support clients' requests for services.
Provide clear and concise explanations of AAG's programs, including In-Home Support Services (IHSS), school IEPs, and Regional Center services.
Assist families with completing applications and accessing appropriate resources.
Participate in company events and community outreach activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications:
Passion for working with children with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome) and their families.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Desirable:
Prior experience in social services or a related field.
Experience with ABA therapy is a plus
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Compensation: $25-$30 per hour
