QUOTING & ESTIMATING AGENT - Aviation Industry

About Us:

We are a dynamic aviation company in search of a skilled Quoting & Estimating Agent to join our purchasing and quoting department.

Position Overview:

The Quoting & Estimating Agent will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing supplier quotes, and supporting our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in aviation purchasing, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage quotes for aviation parts, materials, and services

Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability

Analyze costs, lead times, and delivery schedules

Support the purchasing team with order follow-up and vendor management

Maintain accurate data in internal systems and spreadsheets

Ensure compliance with company and industry standards

Requirements:

Experience in purchasing is a plus

Strong background in aviation or manufacturing preferred

Strong background in quoting and estimating is required

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Excel

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
