Join a leader in Property Management Services industry which provides excellent quality services to its customers since 1972! Barker Management is seeking a full-time General Ledger Specialist who can provide leadership, support, monitor, and evaluate day-to-day general ledger activities.
The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively in teams and independently, can handle multiple projects at once, excel when faced with new challenges, and must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. The General Ledger Specialist will maintain general ledger records, prepare month-end financial reports, maintain security deposits and saving accounts to insure development funding. In addition, assist with audits, annual budgets, bank reconciliations. Other duties as assigned
Position Requisites (Education and/or Experience and Skills):
3+ years accounting / General Ledger Experience
10-key by touch skills
Computer knowledge using MS Word and Excel; knowledge of accounting systems
Strong math aptitude and ability to work accurately with numbers
Good organizational skills
High School Diploma
