Description A Robert Half client is in immediate need for a Senior Accountant Consultant, and will play a crucial role in our finance department, primarily focusing on managing cash transactions, bank reconciliations, and other month-close journal entries on NetSuite. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.Responsibilities:Oversee daily cash transactions, including cash receipts, disbursements, and bank deposits.Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Record and reconcile credit card transactions and merchant deposits.Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance controls.Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or CPA candidate preferred.years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on cash management and reconciliation.Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
