Pomeroy is hiring! We are in need of Sr. Java Developer to join our team at

Pleasanton CA or Oakland CA. This is a

6-month contract to hire position.Candidate is required to be in Bay area on first day of work or willing to relocate to Bay Area on first day of work (Temporary remote work from home within bay area is allowed till Aug for now)

Responsibilities Looking for a Sr Java Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience to work both in Java Microservices Development and Production support activities

Skillsets

Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring/ Spring Boot and REST API development
Database skills - preferably MS SQL Server along with SQL programming
Troubleshooting skills in all Web, App and Database layers is a must
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD environment, Jenkins, , Kubernetes, Splunk, APM tools is a must
Able to work equally well independently and part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualification

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 6 to 8 years
Required to be in Bay area on first day of work or willing to relocate to Bay Area on first day of work (Temporary remote work from home within bay area is allowed till Aug for now)

Competitive rate, up to $55 an hour commensurate of experience. 6-month contract to hire opportunity

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
