California, Monterey bay, 93940 Monterey bay USADescription We are seeking an HR Recruiter based in Monterey, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the lumber industry. The HR Recruiter will be tasked with various responsibilities, primarily focusing on recruitment and candidate sourcing. The role includes handling a solid number of applications every month, conducting interviews, and building candidate profiles.Responsibilities: Conduct 5-6 interviews per day, focusing on identifying potential hires. Engage in heavy recruitment activities, including sourcing and qualifying candidates. Utilize various software and technical skills such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Careerbuilder, CRM, About Time, Applicant Track System, and Paychex Payroll. Attend networking events, college career fairs, and other outreach activities to attract potential candidates. Maintain and update candidate records in the recruitment system. Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and create suitable job profiles. Ensure all recruitment activities align with the company's policies and standards. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet the company's hiring needs. Coordinate with the HR team for onboarding activities. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR Recruiter role or similar Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience with Careerbuilder and CRM systems Proficient in using About Time software Familiarity with Applicant Track System Experience conducting Background Checks Understanding of Benefit Functions Strong Communication skills Proficient in Paychex and Paychex Payroll systems Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
