Bookkeeper

Melo Machine and Manufacturing, Inc. is a service company which specializes in agricultural and industrial machine work, welding and repair, agricultural and domestic pump repair, new manufacturing, and the sale of industrial parts that go along with these repair services.

We are looking for a bookkeeper who wishes to seek employment with an established company. We have an immediate opening and offer great benefits.

Responsibilities include:

-Account Receivable

-Accounts Payable

-Reconcile monthly bank statements

-Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts; reviewing for accuracy and preparing journal entries as needed

-Perform month and year-end close procedures

-Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

-Prepare bank deposits

-Organize and prepare tax documentation (1099’s and sales tax)

Qualifications:

-Attention to detail

-Impeccable documentation and record keeping ability

-Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word and Excel)

-Ability to think critically
