Seeking a skilled handyman with experience in restoring and repairing old steel casement windows to their original condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a solid understanding of traditional window restoration techniques, and is capable of bringing vintage windows back to life while preserving their original charm and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Assessing the condition of existing steel casement windows.

Repairing, restoring, and refinishing frames and hardware to original specifications.

Removing old paint, cleaning, and preparing surfaces for restoration.

Replacing damaged cranks to ensure full functionality.

Maintaining the authenticity of original window components wherever possible.

Providing accurate estimates for project timelines and materials.

Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all restoration work.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in repairing and restoring steel casement windows or similar projects.

Knowledge of traditional window restoration techniques and materials.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
