High-end custom cabinetry and millwork company is seeking an experienced furniture finisher to join our team.

Job Description:

Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods

Must be proficient in color matching

Must be able to repair, fill, and smooth cracks or depressions

Must be able to do touch-ups as needed (may be required to go to the field)

Must be able to sand and use various types of sanding papers

Must know polishes, adhesives, solvents, and colors

Must know how to use hand tools and various power tools

Must be able to distress surfaces with woodworking tools

Rub surfaces to bring out highlights and shadings

Requirements:

Product knowledge of various finished products and their application process.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow directions.

Availability:

MUST BE ABLE TO TOUCH UP IN THE FIELD.

Must have availability to work nights and Saturdays as needed.

Must be able to lift up to 70lbs

Job Location: Cerritos, CA.

Required education: High school or equivalent.

Required experience: 2 years of finishing

Starting pay: $26.00-$40 Based on experience and credentials.
