Job Opening for Automotive Mechanic, Electrical Technician and Tire/alignment Tech.
The qualifying candidate must be willing to work 6 days out of the week.
We specialize in high end luxury, exotic and German vehicles however we work on all cars.
We are a one stop automotive shop that has a client base of all years, makes and model vehicles.
The ideal mechanic should be able to perform complete automotive repair and maintenance tasks. Such tasks may include check engine diagnostics, shocks and struts, oil changes, repair/replace parts (alternators, starters, belts, hoses, radiator, gaskets, spark plugs, brakes, front end suspension, complete vehicle inspections, fuel pumps, clutches, engine tear down and repair.
Responsibilities:
Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with our shop standards
Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair
Communicates and works effectively with the service manager to obtain needed parts
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
Communicates with the service manager if additional work is needed or recommended
Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
Road tests vehicles when required
Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletins
Ensures that the customer's car is kept clean
Ensures work area is always maintained and cleaned
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Diagnose electrical problems, be able to pull wiring diagrams and pinpoint possible electrical issues.
Qualifications:
Must follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Self-motivated and have an enthusiastic presence in a team environment
Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles
Valid driver's license
Strong work ethic
Be familiar with Mitchell, All-data and Identifix software's.
Use provided diagnostic scanners such as Launch, Snap on, Auto logic, Vag-com, etc.
Muffler/Exhaust/Welding skill is a major plus.
The more automotive experience in different automotive areas the higher the chance of hire.
