(PT) Audio Tech for Restaurant/Event Spaces

Responsibilites

-Setup/Breakdown for a 3-4 piece band (setting up drum hardware/music stands/Mic up instruments)

-Operating a Soundcraft Ui16 mixer

-Active listening to the restaurant audio

-Troubleshooting (hums/buzz/power outages/loss of signal)

-Getting a clean audible mix throughout the restaurant as well as a clear monitor mix for the musicians

-Setup for special events (wireless microphones/DJ setup/personal playlist)

-Keeping the audio room organized

-Communication with the musicians as well as management on finding ideal volume levels

Requirements

-1-3 years hands on experience working in Audio Recording/Mixing

(Professional or DIY home recordings/Schooling/Interning/etc.)

-Must work well with others

-Must work well under pressure

-Must have a general understanding of signal flow/mixing

-Eagerness to learn/improve your skills as an audio tech

-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (possibly more) as well as stand on your feet for hours on end

-Flexible schedule preferred (not required)
