Operations Manager

Boutique Health & Wellness Company — Hollywood & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time | Exempt

Compensation: Starting at $68,000+ DOE

Experience: 2–4 years in operations (wellness, med-spa, fitness, hospitality, or related experience a bonus but not required)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm or 9am–6pm (with occasional after-hours support)

Travel: Local, out-of-state, and occasional international

A boutique health and wellness company is seeking an Operations Manager to support its expanding multi-location business, which offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cold plunge, infrared sauna services, mobile wellness activations and more. This role works closely with ownership to coordinate day-to-day operations across several sites, including staff scheduling, equipment and safety oversight, partner check-ins, reporting, payroll support, and participation in internal meetings. The position is hands-on and requires strong organization, communication, and adaptability as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Oversight

Support staff across storefront and mobile locations

Enforce company standards, procedures, and service expectations

Assist with staff training, meetings, and safety/upsell guidance

Track employee hours, maintain timesheets, and support payroll management

Provide coverage support when call-offs occur

Scheduling & Appointment Coordination

Manage scheduling for cold plunge, sauna, HBOT, and mobile services

Use booking tools such as Google Calendar, Stripe, Mindbody, and Vagaro

Handle walk-ins, rescheduling, cancellations, and client inquiries

Maintain staff schedules and confirm equipment usage logs

Mobile Wellness Truck Operations

Oversee the truck’s event and activation calendar

Manage setup/teardown and ensure operational readiness

Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and safety compliance

Operations & Compliance

Maintain safety logs and ensure proper waiver documentation

Oversee POS operations (Square) and daily cash procedures

Assist with inventory, ordering, and restocking

Support client issue resolution and monitor reviews

Track essential operational reports (revenue, hours, usage, inventory)

Marketing & Promotions

Post basic content on Instagram and TikTok

Assist with email and SMS marketing via Mailchimp

Update Google Business and Yelp listings

Support promotional photos/videos and merchandise

Partnership & Growth Support

Visit partner locations monthly and conduct biweekly check-ins

Track leads in HubSpot CRM

Assist with simple pitch decks and partner follow-ups

Attend wellness and health expos as needed

Calendar & Meeting Support

Attend leadership meetings and share updates with staff

Help manage owners’ business calendars and internal scheduling

Assist with contracts, digital files, waivers, and operational documentation

Ideal Candidate

2–4 years of experience in operations; wellness/med-spa/fitness/hospitality experience a bonus but not required

Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Strong communication skills and confidence supporting staff and clients

Comfortable enforcing structure and maintaining standards

Tech-friendly (Excel, Word, Canva, POS systems, booking tools, CRM platforms)

Comfortable with regular local travel between multiple sites

Willing to assist with occasional after-hours needs

Thrives in a small but fast-growing company with evolving priorities
