Colorist + Stylist Assistant

Hiring for a color and styling assistant. If you're looking for a structured education program, a busy salon, and the support of the entire team behind you as you earn your chair, then you're encouraged to apply.

As an assistant at Society your day will be busy helping your stylist with blowouts, glossing, color applications, and keeping the salon in flow. You will participate in twice-weekly education classes and after you complete your first module you will be eligible for an opportunity day where you can begin to see your own clients under supervision.

The right candidate is happy, kind, and deeply passionate about their future in our industry. You must have a flexible schedule with open availability Tuesday-Saturday and occasionally be available for shoots and house calls. No experience is necessary (CA cosmetology license required) but you should be ready to commit to a demanding and rewarding educational program.
