PeopleSoft HCM Programmer Analyst (Contract)
Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst to work for us supporting our San Bernardino County government client.
You will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming. You will be assigned to the County’s Human Capital Management (EMACS) team to partner with Human Resources and to support and maintain its Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
The position requires experience with PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC.
Contract Duration is1 to 2 years (renewed annually). Open to US citizens, green card or H1-B visa holders.
Position requires you to work fully on-site in San Bernardino for at least the first two months, then a hybrid of on-site/remote weekly thereafter.
Responsibilities
1. Designing, implementing, maintaining, testing, supporting HCM new and legacy applications involving new features and functionality from functional requirements.
2. Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance and Talent Acquisition Management and Candidate Gateway modules.
3. Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries
4. Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
2. Advanced PeopleCode experience.
3. Experience with COBOL, Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.
4. Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images.
5. Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones.
6. Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database.
Experience and Education:
Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years’ working experience using HCM, PeopleSoft, JavaScript libraries, SQL and SQR.
