You will be trained with knowledge and skills in how to service clients with various retirement benefits. An exceptional TPA Assistant may be promoted to a TPA Specialist while growing in the field of retirement planning.
Responsibilities
Assist the Pension Plan Administrator on helping business clients with pension plan design and administration
Collect census data from clients to determine eligibility and vesting schedule
Monitor clients’ 401(k) accounts on enrollment and termination processes
Assist with maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ERISA laws and regulations on pension legislation
Assist with other administrative duties and projects assigned by the Pension Plan Administrator
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese
At least 35 years of relevant experience in pension plan setup is preferred
Proficient in computer skills – MS Office: Excel, Word, Adobe: Acrobat
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Attention to detail, good time management, and strong collaboration skills
Active listening skills, patient, focused, and a positive work attitude
