DOG LOVERS, PAID OPPORTUNITY TO FOSTER A DOG!
California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USAYou can't change a dog's past, but you can rewrite their future. We need dog lovers to help us save dogs from shelters. If you have the time or space for a dog in need, please reach out!
Ace of Hearts is a Non-Profit Dog Rescue based in Los Angeles that saves dogs from the shelters, giving them a new chance at life!
We need loving Fosters to provide temporary homes for rescued dogs while we seek "Furever" homes. Since we rescue from shelters, some dogs may be traumatized so we need people who will make them feel secure, comfortable and confident. It's incredibly gratifying when these shy & fearful dogs gain your trust. And it's just as gratifying to receive unconditional love from confident dogs. You will provide loving care & updates on their personalities and we will provide everything else (a bed, food, treats, toys, supplies & vet care).
We need long-term fosters for medium/large breed dogs listed below. Please let us know who you are interested in fostering when you reply! Also include your contact phone # and email:
ANNIE — She's a little cross-eyed, but that just makes her more of a special unicorn. Loves people, good with other dogs, she's ready to go to a forever home now. Needs a long-term foster ASAP!
RAMBO - A friendly 5 year old German Shepherd with a lot of love to give! Rambo loves snuggling and playing fetch. He is looking for a temporary home for about one week in early January!
ZEN a 4-year-old male Neo Mastiff mix who’s as big-hearted as he is big in stature Zen needs a temporary home in January and would love to come play with you.
BARNABUS A playful young Spaniel mix who would love to play fetch with you or go for a quiet walk in Fern Dell. Barnabus needs a temporary home for just a few days from the end of January to the beginning of February!
Joining our foster program is an extremely rewarding experience - you get to help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at the shelter, giving them a second chance to be adopted, our fosters are true heroes!
What we need from you:
-To be 21+ (if under 21, then to have parent approval)
-To foster until the dog is adopted - or at least 2-4 weeks if you can't make that commitment. (NOTE: If you cannot commit to a few weeks, BUT can commit to fostering for a few days in cases of emergency, please still reach out and let us know! It's always great to have fosters who can help in short-term cases)
-To have reliable transportation and be able to bring them to our adoption event in West Hollywood every other Saturday and to a vet of our choice for wellness appointments, spay/neuter appointments, and other appointments as necessary.
-To be comfortable with large breeds! We're a bully breed rescue and most of our pups weigh 50-90 pounds. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IF YOU CAN ONLY FOSTER SMALL DOGS.
-To have NO CHILDREN UNDER 10, CATS, OR SMALL DOGS in your home (PLEASE do not inquire if you have children or cats, other LARGE dogs are okay! PLEASE do not inquire if you have small dogs)
-To be able to start immediately
-To have already discussed this with all landlords/managers/spouses etc. and have their approval, please do not reply if you don't.
If you have any questions, please reach out! Help us save lives!
Please provide your phone number and personal email so we can contact you! WE WILL NOT RESPOND IF YOU DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL.
Thank you for your time and care! With the help of our fosters, we can save more dogs and help each of these sweet babies have a second chance at a wonderful life!
