CNC Operator - Second shift
California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USAWe are hiring a CNC Operator for the second shift to operate CNC machines and produce precision aerospace parts. Responsibilities include loading materials, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining production records. The candidate must have basic experience operating a CNC machine, but we are willing to provide training on other aspects of the role. Looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently with strong mechanical skills and attention to quality.Full-time: Monday - Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pmCNC Operator I: $18.00-$22.00 per hourCNC Operator II: $22.00-$27.00 per hour.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation, sick pay, and 401k! Duties/ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines (lathes, mills, routers) to produce parts according to specifications.Inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain production logs and note any errors or discarded pieces.Perform basic maintenance and adjustments on machinery.Keep the work area clean and follow all safety protocols.Support team members and perform additional tasks as needed.Experience operating CNC machinery is required.Basic knowledge of machining operations, tool use, maintenance, and safety.Basic shop math skills and mechanical aptitude.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team.Good attendance and reliable work ethic.Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Requires good eyesight, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, endurance, strength, hearing, and color vision for effective and safe job performance. Physical Demands: Job duties are performed in an open warehouse environment with a wider range of temperature variation than would be expected in an office environment and frequent exposure to fumes and chemicals. Frequent repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers.Prolonged standing, walking, and bending, with occasional kneeling, climbing, and squatting.Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Frequent reaching, twisting, handling, and fine dexterity.ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
