Maintenance Mechanic

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! This is for a production facility for food packaging, mainly ice cream containers made of paperboard. Ideally, looking for someone out of packaging production

Responsibilities:

3 years of experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic skills.

Packaging equipment experience; die cutters, folders/gluers, palletizers, packers, etc.

GMP environment a plus.

Inspect spark plugs and make sure that they are functioning properly.

Grease all furnace components such as bearings, pulleys and other parts that may require greasing.

Inspect all belts on pulleys and other motors that drive fans.

Check all compressors and perform basic oil changes.

You will be required to climb furnace, while wearing fall protection, to perform these tasks.

Other duties as assigned.
