Alice’s Sweet Tooth (AST) is a small but fast-growing CPG company that makes Gluten-Free, Plant-Based, Vegan cookies in the Better For You category.
We are in over 250 locations on both coasts including Bristol Farms in the LA area and Morton Williams and ShopRite on the East Coast, with more coming online every month.
We have a three month launch in Sprouts nationwide in September and are looking for a skilled social media marketing intern who can develop a strong, entertaining, social media campaign to support the launch and drive traffic to the stores.
This role involves developing a three-month content calendar, creating engaging content, monitoring paid and organic social media channels, and analyzing performance metrics.
If the campaign is successful and tangible results can be analyzed, there is the possibility of extending the arrangement to a part-time, paid position to handle all our social media, including retail, B2B and B2C ecommerce.
This is a part-time, unpaid, remote position reporting to the Founder and CEO. It is a good opportunity for someone looking to work with an emerging, high-quality brand, fine tune their skills, and build their resume for bigger opportunities in the CPG Food industry.
Responsibilities:
The right candidate works under the supervision of Founder & CEO to create social media calendars, keep social media accounts updated, and review analytics of the different channels.
The goal is to increase brand awareness through the usage of social media platforms and drive traffic to the many Sprouts locations across the country.
Develop and implement three-month plan for social media strategy and content calendar that is aligned with the AST’s culture and goals while adhering to AST’s brand and tone of voice.
Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social med platforms; Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages
Create original content and ads and assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Facebook, IG, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Create excitement for a new brand;
Know how to drive foot traffic to store locations;
Engage with the public with comments and posts;
Do analytic research and reports;
Monitor and support paid social media channels to drive traffic to specific campaigns.
Implement plans to increase followers on popular social media websites
Estimate time: 25-28 hours per week
Required Skills/Abilities:
Creative mind and deep passion for social media focused on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook; experience working with social media profiles and influencers a big plus but not required
Has worked with Business Suites and Ad Managers (i.e. Google, FB, TikTok)
Graphic Design experience a plus
Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and produce work independently
Familiar with multi-social posting through programs
Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
Familiarity with Gen Z audience
Positive, motivated, flexible, detail-oriented personality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Student working towards a similar or related degree will be considered.
1-2 years of proven experience in managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
Proficient in social media analytics and reporting
Proficient in Office 365 applications.
Knowledge in various design applications and general graphic design preferred.
Customer service experience/knowledge a plus
