Seeking Active (Retired) Litigation Atty - for YouTube content
California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USAI litigated for over twenty years before deciding to mediate with couples and families. In my experience, I found that the single best asset protection for most couples and families was 1) to get as much insurance as they can; 2) to heal the family and create stronger bonds with one another to prevent divorce and post-testamentary litigation.
I want to create a series of short videos, with an active attorney (as CYA, basically), explaining why these "I'll help you shield your assets"-type strategies don't work, and that most people would be far better served to work on their familial relationships instead.
I am hopeful that you would be open to acting as if you were a judge, defense attorney, creditor's attorney, etc. For example, as a judge, we may get you a robe as you read from legal opinions that defeated these farcical asset protection tools that many attorneys are peddling to unsuspecting people with money.
The topics of conversation would include their personal experience, as well as fraudulent transfers, risks of traditional asset protection, limitations of how trusts can be used to shield assets from creditors.
This does NOT pay well. But it would be FUN!
It would be a good fit for someone who enjoys some measure of publicity and, more importantly, the conversation, more than likely in between their rounds of golf and cocktails.
It would involve a a few days of filming during discrete hours, whether in person or via Zoom.
Happy to discuss more details about compensation and timing when we speak.
If you are interested, please send a resume, a picture and any writing sample. Prefer to have people that have a sense of humor, can speak in plain English, and would enjoy on-screen banter. Active lawyers only.
NO PARALEGALS OR ANYONE ELSE WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO PRACTICE LAW.
And NO HARVARD LAWYERS, PLEASE. I seem to have an allergy to people telling me they went to Harvard (or any other school, but somehow it is inevitably Harvard) in the first two sentences of introducing themselves.
