SPANISH SPEAKING WORKERS' COMPENSATION PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT

Los Angeles-based workers' compensation applicant practice seeking a full-time paralegal/legal assistant with minimum of 2 years of workers' compensation experience (preferably 5+ years). This is NOT a remote position.

Job requirements/duties include:

-Bilingual Spanish-speaker a MUST

-Experience handling cases from beginning to end

-Experience with intake and screening prospective clients

-Reporting claims to insurance companies

-Scheduling medical appointments for clients

-Filing Applications

-Requesting QME/AMEs

-Filing and objecting to DORs

-Interacting with clients about the status of their cases

-Use EAMS, Filenet, Jet-file

-Familiarity with Merus Case helpful, but not required

-Organized and able to work independently
