Immigration Paralegal/ Case Manager
California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USAWe are a fast-paced Los Angeles-based immigration law firm. Our practice is primarily dedicated to O1 and EB1 visas but we also have a thriving family-based immigration department.
We are seeking a full-time experienced Immigration Paralegal/ Case Manager to assist with adjustment of status and consular immigrant visa applications. Experience with non-immigrant visas is a plus but not required. Duties and Responsibility:
Prepare and file petitions, applications, and responses for different types of immigrant and non-immigrant visas (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131, DS-260)
Effectively communicate with clients to assemble documentation and keep clients informed of case status.
Prepare procedural information and document checklist for the client.
Escalate issues to the attorney or supervisor when necessary.
Manage cases effectively to make sure deadlines are met.
Administer case management system, and track case status on a regular basis.
Qualification and Skills Required:
3+ years of hands-on experience working on family and employment-based green card applications.
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with interruptions
Take ownership of his/her work
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Work Remotely: Possibility of working remotely 1 day per week after the training period.
