Diesel Mechanic Needed!

Construction company looking for a mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance with vehicles and equipment.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

working and maintaining fleet vehicles, perform diagnostics for troubleshooting purposes, work on heavy equipment/machinery, fabricate parts/tools, use various hand tools, welding, grinding, painting, safely handle vehicle fluids (oils, coolants), writing vehicle maintenance logs.

Requirements:

-Valid driver's license and ability to drive

-Authorized to work in the United States

-Any mechanic certifications is a plus, but not required

-Mechanical experience is a plus, but not required

-Diagnostic/programming/coding skills is a plus

-Document completed work as required by DOT

-Maintain a clean and orderly shop and work area

-Punctual attendance

-Reliable

-Open to learning because training is provided as needed
