Position Summary

The main focus of this position will be the maintenance, landscape and janitorial of the common areas at our beautiful 265-space manufactured home community in Torrance, CA. Duties will be assigned under the direct supervision of the Community Manager.

Position Performance Objectives

Common area maintenance

Common area janitorial (clubhouse, bathrooms, etc.)

Gardening and landscaping work

Irrigation repairs

Work with electric and gas meter shutoffs, as needed

Maintain accurate records of work performed

Physical Requirements

Has the ability to bend, stoop, walk, climb ladders for 90% of a typical working day

Has the ability to bend, lift and reach boxes and maintenance supplies of 30 pounds or more

Has the ability to safely use tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and saws

Has the ability to log maintenance records in a computer or app

Experience Requirements

Has two years minimum of recent experience in property management, apartment/residential maintenance - Mobile Home Park experience is a plus

High school diploma or GED equivalent - required

Has basic use skills of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Has a valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance - required

Compensation/Position Details

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 7 am to 4 pm, 1 hour for lunch

$18-$21 per hour
