We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure smooth operations. Your expertise, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for each patient.

- Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.

- Schedule and manage patient appointments, including confirming and rescheduling as needed.

- Assist with front office tasks, such as answering phones, greeting patients, and handling patient billing and insurance claims.

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.

- Current certification in dental assisting (e.g., Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Assistant) is highly desirable.

- Previous 2 years experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.

- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).

- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.

- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and dental software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Commitment to patient care and comfort.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Currently the office is open on (Mon., Tues., Fri. 9am- 7pm), (Wed. 9am-6pm), and first Sat. of each month 9am-3pm. Please be available to work this schedule.
