Back of House (BOH) Team Member
Job Summary: Kitchen team members play the biggest role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are listed in no particular order and even with experience, everyone starts at entry level.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations in accordance with food safety standards.
Stock and organize ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow during service.
Assist chefs with various tasks, such as plating dishes, garnishing plates, and coordinating orders.
Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to maintain consistency and quality in food production.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
Adhere to kitchen hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of food products.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Qualifications and requirements:
No prior kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Push, pull, lift 50 lbs.
Be able to stand for the majority of your shift.
High School Diploma
