Entry Level Custodians Needed - $35/hr - Starting ASAP

Looking for qualified, entry level custodians for a major local hospital with start dates as soon as Monday, 11/18. This is a 2-3 week contract and great foot in the door opportunity with lots of OT.

Job Title: Custodian

Pay Rate: $35.09/Hour

Location: Westwood, California

Shifts available:

1) 7am - 3:30pm

2) 4pm - 12:30am

3) 11pm-7:30am

4)5pm - 1:30am

Contract: 2-3 week contract.

Job Description:

- Responsible for cleaning, mopping sweeping, restocking restrooms, and cleaning rooms after patients have been discharged.

- Follows cleaning procedures and checks off list after completion of each room.

- Provides supplies (tissues, paper towels, soap, etc.) to areas as needed.

- Appropriately disposes of trash and medical waste from all areas of the hospital. Maintains trash cans sanitized with new liner, tie and disposes trash in compactor.

- Moves furniture and exercises safety procedures and avoids damage to furniture or walls.

- Cleans assigned areas using proper solutions, equipment and techniques.

- Uses properly labeled chemicals.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to speak and ready English.

- Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.

- Must comply to medical screenings

- Must be okay working in a hospital environment

- Must have reliable transportation
